CERTIFIED PROVIDER PATH

Upon completion of the coursework, students will offer counseling to a SWer for 12 sessions, pro bono, and attend group supervision once a month for 3 months, and be listed in our Provider Registry page as a "Certified Provider." If you choose this path, we ask that you share your professional or personal website, or social media to verify your adherence to our etiquette and expectations policy.

ECC will refer this client through our parent organization, sex worker-led, Zepp Wellness Center. ECC will meet with each client after their care to discuss your competence in session. Once your direct service & supervision hours are complete and we’ve met with the clients, you will be added to our Provider Registry for two years.

What People Are Saying:

ECC provided knowledge that is unlike any other instruction I have found in other continuing education courses. Everyone, from the organization to the peers in our groups, allowed me the opportunity to grow through discomfort while also holding space for each other during this course.

Eliana R.

This course reminded me how important and necessary anti-oppressive practices are to the work. It helped me to feel seen, supported, and understood in my identities and reignited my passion for advocacy in the field of mental health - not just for affirming care for sex workers, but for all whose marginalization results in exclusion or a lack of safety in spaces that are meant to care for and support them. Our very existence is political, the work we do is political, and I now have so many more resources to continue challenging oppressive systems inside of myself, in the field, and in my communities.
