Linney Osias is a dedicated professional from Miami Gardens, FL, with a strong background in education and therapy, skillfully blending anthropological insights to enhance performance and mental health outcomes. Their family immigrated from Haiti, where most of their childhood summers were spent. Holding a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in African-American Studies from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, Linney has excelled in diverse roles, including their current role as a Middle School English Teacher at KIPP Justice in New Jersey. Their work is deeply rooted in holistic wellness practices, with a focus on herbalism, blackness, gender, healing, and the cultural dynamics of the African diaspora. Linney has demonstrated a commitment to fostering inclusive environments, whether through developing individualized IEPs for students, leading culturally enriching activities all year round, but especially during Hispanic Heritage Month and Black History Month, or providing trauma-informed therapy.
