Bio: Lisa is a practitioner of curanderismo and has been a provider in community and private practice for almost 20 years. She is a board certified doctor of natural medicine, master herbalist, unlicensed psychotherapist registered with the State of Colorado and a certified POCA Acu-Detox Specialist and instructor.  She is a long time student of Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés Reyes and has been fortunate enough to study and learn from respected elders and traditional healers from the Southwest United States, Mexico and Guatemala. 

Lisa’s deepest joy is to offer ceremony, teachings and healing opportunities to individuals who are seeking to connect with their ancestral roots and find additional resources to help them achieve the wellness and balance they deserve.

  • Contextual understanding that Indigenous healing practices were once criminalized, and that the ability to utilize them today is an important act of resistance, a statement of resilience and cultural survival.

This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 2 CE credits. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification.
