What this training offers:

This training offers an accessible and affordable alternative to traditional EMDR and Somatic Experiencing certifications while acknowledging that healing doesn’t happen in isolation from race, culture or community.
This program includes:

6 interactive lecture-based classes

4 demonstration and practice sessions
-
Training materials
-
The option to be matched with a client*
-
Monthly group supervision (available indefinitely)

*Client Matching:
As part of this training, all participants are expected to apply the skills they are learning with clients throughout the coursework.
You have two options:
-Work with clients form your existing practice
-Be matched with a client thorough ECC
Please note: This certification is designed for professionals who already have experience working with clients in a 1:1 setting. If you have never worked with clients, this certification is not the right fit at this time.
If you are matched with a client through ECC, you must be prepared to provide pro bono session from January 2027 through December 2027 on either a weekly or biweekly basis.
As part of the certification process, ECC may contact your client to gather feedback about their experience working with you. We will also serve as a resource should they have any questions or concerns during your work together.
