"I have always been a big fan of Independence Day (I've watched it well over 10 times in my life) and I am not sure why it never sunk in that Vivica Fox's character is a stripper. I was watching it this past weekend and was like wait a minute... I should review this for The Red Light Rules! The movie presents Vivica's character, Jasmine, in such a positive light and doesn't shy away from the fact that she is a stripper but they also don't over emphasize it. Jasmine is also a true badass and ends up saving the First Lady too. I was actually shocked at how well it scored because it's Independence Day lol but they ended up portraying Jasmine as a full human being outside of her work and did not add unnecessary drama or weird vibes to her character. Of course, this is an ensemble cast so she isn't the main character but she is in the core group of people and ends up marrying the main character. But for sure, if you haven't seen this movie yet it's definitely worth the watch because aliens, sexy ass young Jeff Goldblum, and a lot of funny moments."
