The Red Light Rules: Margo's Got Money Troubles
"In a time of Sam Levinson's 'Euphoria', we are also getting the other end of the spectrum of SW representation with Margo's Got Money Troubles. This show scored perfectly and overall was a nice watch. It didn't blow my mind or anything but it was a good story. Still not written by an actual SWer though unfortunately. My main issue is that people keep using SW as this taboo but sexy topic for their shows and movies just to make themselves rich and famous without actually having to live with the social consequences that come along with what is means to be a SWer. Overall through, the lady who wrote the book seems to have clearly done her research. The show touches on internalized whorephobia, being a SWer and a parent, doxxing, and pretty much all of the things that would lead someone to pursue this work. I'm excited to see what season 2 will be like!"
